School-based healthcare is a powerful strategy for promoting health equity among children and adolescents who face significant disparities in health outcomes. Integrating essential medical, behavioral, dental, and vision care directly into schools ensures that all young individuals—regardless of their circumstances—have equitable access to the care they need to thrive academically and personally.
The conference will feature a day and a half of connection and learning bringing together school-based health care partners from across the state and country, urban and rural alike.
Pennsylvania’s School-Based Health Care conference is scheduled and designed to highlight and maximize collaboration and partnership with Pennsylvania’s school nurses through co-location with the annual school health conference hosted by the Association of Pennsylvania Professional School Nurses (APPSN).
